Sharing a Passion for Fishing!
At 15 months of age, I began what has become a lifelong ambition – fishing! Since that time, I developed a love for fly and light tackle fishing on the waters of Virginia's Chesapeake Bay. Much of my childhood was spent exploring the wonders of this unique estuary.
I continued to gain an understanding of the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem in college through studies in marine and environmental science. Upon graduation from Old Dominion University, I returned home to the Middle Peninsula to become Virginia's first full-time saltwater fly fishing guide.
After a quarter century of advocacy work promoting conservation of the Chesapeake Bay resource, I was forced to make the difficult decision to close my local guide service due to a drastic decline in the fishery.
While my days of fishing Chesapeake Bay are in the past, I continue to follow my passion for fishing as it leads me around the globe in the hunt for challenging species, pristine environments, diverse cultures, and unforgettable life experiences.
I get no bigger rush in fishing than traveling to places where other anglers have yet to venture. Solving the puzzle of the unknown with nothing but your skills and intuition tests all aspects of who you truly are as an angler. The hard work involved in blazing a new trail is not always rewarded with glamorous results. Learning to welcome failures as part of the journey makes it all the more rewarding when you experience truly magical fishing. When novel discoveries occur in combination with the technical ability to accomplish the task, these moments produce an unmatched ecstasy – the pinnacle of life's journey experienced through fishing!
To share these trailblazing expeditions with like-minded anglers, I created Endless Quest Fishing Adventures. I am excited to assist you in discovering one-of-a-kind fishing memories that will last a lifetime!
