Boats & Equipment
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to ride on countless boats and fish a wide array of equipment. With that knowledge in hand, I have rigged out my guide service with customized boats and equipment to meet the demands of fly and light tackle fishing on the lower Chesapeake Bay of Virginia.
The Bay Boat - Triton 240 LTS Pro
More than 20 years ago, I ran one of the first "bay boats" on the Chesapeake. Since that time, the bay boat design has grown in popularity and proven itself as the perfect setup for shallow water fishing in the region. Large and stable with a sharp bow entry, my 24ft Triton LTS Pro is a shallow water fishing machine that maintains the ability to handle the Chesapeake Bay chop better than about any boat in its class. The spacious and clutter free layout with raised bow and stern casting decks make for a fantastic fishing platform. From 100 gallons of livewell space to the Minn Kota trolling motor, this boat is fully customized to provide fly and light tackle anglers with the best opportunity to catch striped bass, speckled trout and redfish in the shallow water habitat of VA's Chesapeake Bay.
