Virginia's Mathews County

Fishing charters depart from my home waters in Mathews County on the Middle Peninsula of Virginia.  I have spent my life exploring the area and hope you have the opportunity to enjoy this rural region of the Chesapeake Bay.  Charters are strategically based to take advantage of the best fly fishing and light tackle fishing opportunities.

I run my 24' Triton bay boat out of Queens Creek Marina located at 321 Walnut Acres Lane near the town of Hudgins.  Only a mile as the crow flies from where I grew up, this area provides some of the most diverse shallow water habitat on the Chesapeake.  There are many sheltered places to hide from the wind and waves making for comfortable fishing in nearly every weather condition.  Nearby waters include Piankatank and Rappahannock rivers, Hole-in-the-Wall, Gwynn's Island, Winter Harbor, and Fleet's Bay.
