Chesapeake Bay Fly Fishing Guide & Light Tackle Fishing Charter in Virginia​

Types of fishing:  Specializing in saltwater fly fishing and light tackle fishing on the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries.  As your guide, I will do whatever it takes to make a trip fun and successful.  Feel free to ask questions or look for advice during our time together.  Remember that I am here for you!

Available charters:  Each charter is customized to meet the angler's goals.  5hr charters are designed to take advantage of prime hours for inshore, shallow water fishing.  Target species include striped bass (rockfish), speckled trout (spotted sea trout), redfish (red drum), bluefish, Spanish mackerel, sheepshead, and cobia.  Licensing and quality equipment is provided for a successful day of fishing.

Location:  Charters are based out of rural Mathews County which is centrally located between Virginia's major cities like Richmond, Williamsburg, Newport News, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Charlottesville, Fredericksburg and Washington, DC.​

Catch & release encouraged:  Clients are welcome to keep their daily limits of fish but are reminded that the fishery is a limited resource.
